Spoon at Paper Plane: A Fusion of Asian Flavors in Hapeville

Second time here. This is just an AWESOME restaurant on the South side of Atlanta, close to Hartsfield. EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious! Great ambiance too! The Pad Thai Shrimp was dope! Our group really enjoyed the modern environment.

The food was genuinely good, and I enjoyed the flavors a lot. However, the restaurant smelled strongly like Fabuloso, which was a bit overwhelming while trying to eat. That’s picky and a personal pet peeve but it would also be nice if the plates weren’t plastic. Ceramic dishes and glass cups would make the dining experience feel much better at a sit down restaurant.

Askya I hope I spelled it correctly , forgive me but she was amazing so sweet and attentive! Very knowledgeable about the menu ! I love that she considered possible allergies! By the way the food 1000/1000 absolutely flavorful Wine delicious Atmosphere cozy intimate for weds We will definitely be back!

Jeffrey was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he took the time to explain options, offer recommendations, and answer every question with patience and confidence. Despite our large party, he remained calm, organized, and incredibly attentive to each person’s needs. What truly stood out was his genuine, warm personality. he made everyone feel welcome and valued. Every accommodation was met seamlessly, and our experience was smooth because of his professionalism and kindness. Jeffrey is a true gem and a huge asset to the team. I would absolutely request him again!

Lunch crowd was crazy, but the service sitting at the bar was awesome. Marcus was attentive we received drinks quickly. 45 mins to get our food, it seemed extra spicy today medium heat kinda blue my palate out. They seemed short staffed today.

Food was amazing. I ordered the Basil stir fry and my mom got the crabmeat rice. Hers was a bit spicy for her but I enjoy spice so it was perfect for me! Ci was an amazing server and explained the menu and made recommendations! Would definitely visit again if I am in the area!

I stopped in around 2pm on a Tuesday and there was plenty of seating. My first impression was not a Thai restaurant but rather a trendy restaurant with a great bar scene. Service was quick...I had the 'HOT' Kraprao chicken dish. Great flavors with a good portion for lunch however the HOT was somewhere between Mild & Medium...you may want to bump up one level on spiciness. Great location that's close enough to grab a good meal before you hit the airport or a first meal after you land in ATL.

We had a nice experience here! Our server was very friendly. The food was good as were the drinks. We happened to be there for live music, which was enjoyable albeit quite loud. This is a great place to go if you need a quick bite after the airport!
